During a three-year campaign (while working with San Antonio-based Dublin & Associates, Pace's agency of record), we generated 70 million media impressions for Pace Foods via spearheading and supporting media relations efforts for the Tom Perini media tour. Susan Philips/Shalanda Augillard:
Philips, an Austin-based lawyer, represented New Orleans-based dog owner Shalanda Augillard in an attempt to win back custody of her dog Jazz. The dog was "rescued" during Hurricane Katrina, taken to Texas,
and given to a Hays County woman who still has the dog. In June 2007,
despite DNA evidence demonstrating that the cocker spaniel was
Aguillard's dog, the judge did not allow the dog to be returned to
Aguillard. We have been working as part of a public relations team,
including both traditional and social media outreach, in the ongoing legal battle to reunite Jazz and Augillard. Coverage to date includes a feature in the New Orleans Times-Picayune and an interview on top-rated New Orleans news-talk station WRNO-FM (99.5 FM).
